PARTNER Executive is proud to be supporting an ASX-listed gold development company on the search for a Chief Financial Officer. With a flagship, large-scale asset in one of the world's premier gold producing regions, a landmark strategic funding agreement recently secured, and a strong balance sheet, our client is transitioning from development through to project execution and, ultimately, operations.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the CFO will act as a key strategic partner to the MD and Board, providing commercial and financial leadership across funding strategy, capital management, project development and operational readiness.

The Opportunity:

• Lead the Company's funding strategy: engage directly with banks, investors and financial institutions as the business progresses toward development and construction.
• A genuine seat at the table: partner with the Managing Director and Board on strategic decision-making at a pivotal stage of growth.
• Broad commercial scope: critical insight across budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation and project economics, working closely with corporate and technical teams.
• Build for scale: shape finance and IT capability, and strengthen reporting, governance and risk frameworks as the business grows.
• Resources sector experience essential: exposure to both project development and operational environments, with hands-on industry experience (not solely advisory or banking). Gold and/or copper experience highly regarded.
• Demonstrated involvement in debt funding processes will be key, with the ability to support or lead lender and investor engagement.
